Hey Guys. Mitch here informing you all that we are currently back on Vanguard Xeth Server. I've noticed a few people have posted on here a few months back. If you see this message email me at Hockeyplayuh14@yahoo.com We have rerolled and are leveling back up and let me tell you...the game is much better now! There are unfortunately still a few bugs but they are very minor. If anyone feels like coming back and trying it out....Now would be the time. Hope to see you all soon!

Let us know about some of the cool stuff going on in Vanguard! It would be nice to hear that they a) fixed the engine, b) fixed the servers, c) fixed the content, d) made the game challenging, etc, etc. :-) ~Nate |

Holy shit, it's Nate! Been a long time since I spoke to either you or Corinna - definately missing your company! Yeah, Mitch and I played PEQ for awhile until the server went down while Obama was in the vicinity or some BS like that... We tried a few other EQ private servers but none really struck our fancy - Zek was okay, a semi-legit private server, pretty neat. But anyways, we've got a good group of friends back to Vanguard. They've fixed a bunch of things, aka, engine, some clipping issues, and the game doesn't hitch as much as it used to (chunking is also less violent, although I periodically lose my pants after a chunk) How are you two? Hope everything is going well with the new addition to the family  |

Great to hear, all is well here. Charles is walking! Can you believe he's over a year old already? I've gotta get out the door for work but keep in touch!

Whats up you guys. Good to see people giving VG another go. I tried it during the last free month and the performance was pretty shocking from what it was. I might actually give it another shot this year as they seem to have stuff stuff in the works that looks really good. Adding a eqish style AA system gave me a boner frankly. Half the fun I had in Eq was grinding AA's with these guys and chatting.
Im stuck in the WoW loop and back to 25 man raids but with the lack of things like a AA system and a few other things I get bored fast and alts are boring as hell now. I have thought long and hard about going back to EQ but I always get stuck at the combat. After faster MMO combat its just so hard to go back to the slow stuff. My guy is still on Xeth and I also have a guy on Seradon from last year. Switched there as the pop seemed higher but ill check both if and when I come back.
I would probably go back to VG now but I just conducted a guild merge and got 25 mans on track and really hate to leave everyone high and dry. Fucking WoW man. I always go back in just wanting to have fun and have no responsibilities but get roped into a officer spot and next thing I know running the guild and by the time I wade through all the bullshit and get things the way it should be I am so burnt and sick or WoW I wanna puke.
Good to hear from you guys and ill hopefully see ya around one of these days.
